I checked out the book "Dionaea: The Venus's Flytrap " to read because I ordered a Venus flytrap online to try and take care of for fun. I learned a lot about this species and its many distinguishing characteristics. Venus flytraps are native to the Carolinas. They live in moist areas. The pictures I found most captivating were the pictures of traps closed with insects inside. If this book were written 10 years earlier, it might have less information because of the limited technology back then compared to the technology we have today.
